4. AI Processing

How AI Works: Your screenshots and questions are processed by AI models (OpenAI GPT-4) to generate responses. This processing happens in real-time to answer your queries.

Integrated Services Data: Data from Google Calendar, Notion, and GitHub is used exclusively to provide the features you see in LacPointer (managing events, tasks, and issues). We do not use data from these services for any other purpose, including AI model training or product analytics.

No Training on Your Data: We do not train AI models on your personal data, conversations, screenshots, or information from connected services (Google Calendar, Notion, GitHub).

Third-Party AI Processing: We use OpenAI's GPT-4 API to generate responses to your queries. Third-party AI providers process requests in real-time but do not store or train on your data per their standard API terms.

5. Data Storage and Security

5.1 Where We Store Data

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. Screenshots and conversation history are stored to enable cross-device access and conversation continuity.

Google Calendar

LacPointer's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We access your calendar events and tasks solely to provide calendar management features within LacPointer. We do not use Google data for any other purpose.

Notion

We access your Notion pages, databases, and tasks solely to provide task management and Notion integration features within LacPointer.

GitHub

We access your GitHub repositories, issues, and notifications solely to provide GitHub integration features within LacPointer.

Important: Data from all connected services (Google, Notion, GitHub) is used exclusively for providing their respective features in our app. This data is not used for AI training, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the service you requested.

7.2 Delete Your Data

You can delete individual conversations or your entire account. Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request a copy of your data by contacting support@lacai.io. We'll provide your data in a portable format.

7.4 Opt-Out of Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails through your account settings. You cannot opt out of essential service notifications.

7.5 Regional Privacy Rights

If you're in the EU, UK, California, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have additional rights including data portability, restriction of processing, and the right to object to certain uses.

Desktop App: The desktop application does not use cookies but stores authentication tokens locally on your device.

Website: Our website (lacai.io) uses essential cookies for authentication and functionality. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

LacPointer is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
